Having served as a Lieutenant in the Italian Army, Matteo embarked on a career as Management Consultant at PWC, advising UK banks on multi-asset transactions. He then took up the role of Financial Controller at Barclays Bank and obtained the charter of management accountant (ACMA – CIMA).  Than joined Lloyds Banking Group advising the Executive Team on European  transactions.  After almost ten years in the banking sector, Matteo has founded Gestio Capital. He currently sits on the board of 2 of the portfolio companies:

• OTX Group, the first European market platform for oil majors to trade compulsory stockholding obligations (CSOs).
• TLG Capital, a leading private equity firm focusing on frontier markets.

After 12 years of experience as an Investment Banker in London and Geneva where he held key positions at Credit Agricole, RBS and Royal Bank of Canada as structured products and derivatives sales dedicated to Swiss based single and multi-family offices, Remi founded Suffren Advisors Ltd, an UK consulting company offering services to Swiss family offices. Remi acted as CIO consultant for 3 multi- family offices in charge of the asset allocation between capital markets investments, alternative investments, private equity, venture capital and real estate. Thereafter Remi joined Stoneweg as Head of Sales, a fully- integrated real estate asset manager in Switzerland, with assets under administration near EUR 4bn raised since foundation in 2015. Remi holds a dual degree in Economics in German and French from ESB Reutlingen and NEOMA Reims and a Master in Finance from Paris Assas II University.
